Mission Statement of the Falcon Kindred

Falcon Kindred's principal goal is to promote Teutonic Heathenry. As Heathens of Germanic descent, we believe that the Aesir and Vanir are the gods and goddesses of our people, and that we have a symbiotic relationship with them.
Falcon Kindred provides religious education about the practice of Heathenry, both for children and for adults. Our educational goal is to empower our members to perform our holy rites. A course of study for the education and ordination of Heathen clergy also is available.
Falcon Kindred’s goals are accomplished by our members' participation in our rituals; their geographic location is not a limiting factor. By facilitating the practice of Heathenry, worldwide, Falcon Kindred hopes to help improve the condition of the world.
Heathens are asserting themselves now as never before-- we all know this to be true. We are blessed according to the effort we put forth, and we create our own experience. We transcend personality and other differences, that we may facilitate our people's return to Heathenry. We think locally and globally at the same time. The gods and goddesses watch as their people gather and our numbers grow. They are our elder kin, and we return to them and receive their blessings.
Heathens now stand together on common ground and in solidarity: The Awakening Is Now!

We, the Falcon Kindred, pledge the following:
~ To do our utmost to propagate Heathenry far and wide
~ To increase awareness of our gods and our faith, particularly among our kinfolk of Northern European blood, and also in society at large
~ To create, or work with others to create, powerful institutions that will achieve these ends
~ To strengthen ourselves mentally, physically, spiritually and financially, as individuals and as a folk, by applying the wisdom of our gods and our ancestors
~ To honor the gods, the ancestors, and ourselves by maintaining a standard of correct and honorable behavior
~ In particular we pledge to live as set forth in the Havamal: the sayings of Har (Odin).
~ Falcon Kindred also is working to acquire land for a Heathen temple and burial ground.
